Bi-Fuel™ Power Systems
Generac's exclusive Bi-FuelTM solution provides dramatically longer run times at a cost only slightly
higher than a diesel-only design making it an outstanding value.
Compression-ignited Bi-Fuel generators start on 100% diesel fuel. As load is applied, natural gas is added and the
amount of diesel fuel is simultaneously decreased. During an outage, they typically operate on a mixture
consisting mostly of natural gas and only enough diesel fuel to facilitate ignition. Generac Bi-Fuel offers the
extended run times and environmental benefits of natural gas while reducing diesel fuel storage to a manageable
amount. Should the natural gas supply be interrupted, the generator switches automatically to 100% diesel
operation with no loss of power during the transition.
The power and price of diesel the environmental benefits of natural gas the longest run times in the industry.
It's easy to see why Generac is the smart choice.
