PWRcell 2 features one of the highest residential storage capacities available, providing not only additional savings opportunities compared to solar alone, but also up to 33% more backup capability than the current solar storage industry leader.
PWRcell 2 is built on modularity so when your needs change, your system can too. Individual 3 kWh battery modules allow you to increase your battery size from 9 – 18 kWh in a single cabinet, offering even more opportunity for savings and protection from outages.
If more storage is needed, an additional battery cabinet can be added to the same inverter, for up to 36 kWh of storage capacity.
You can start with exactly the storage capacity you need, and easily expand in 3kWh increments up to 18 kWh in a single cabinet or 36 kWh in two cabinets.
Adding a Generac home standby generator up to 26 kW provides virtually endless* backup capabilities, giving you the ultimate peace of mind. An ecobee thermostat integrates seamlessly with PWRcell 2 to monitor outages and automatically adjust temperature set points to preserve stored energy. It also provides a convenient in-home display for anyone in the home to view outage details and battery status in real time.
